Volunteers to travel and do training

Grassroot Soccer has hundreds of employees and volunteers who log many hours with the young students we are intent on helping remain HIV/AIDS free. As we work to deliver our education curriculum to the children of sub-Saharan Africa, it would benefit these volunteers to receive basic skills training including computer training, financial management and public speaking.

Grassroot Soccer would need qualified volunteers willing to travel to South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe to deliver computer, public speaking, and financial management training. Such sessions could happen in one or multiple installments. We would organize sessions that brought together groups of our volunteers and employees for more efficient training.

Ultimately, such training would benefit the children that Grassroot Soccer seeks to provide with an education to keep themselves HIV/AIDS free. Public speaking training would allow for more effective delivery of the Grassroot Soccer message. Better financial management by employees and volunteers would allow Grassroot Soccer to reach even more children with its message.

Computer training could potentially allow Grassroot Soccer employees and volunteers a means to better share experiences as well as a platform that would allow the organisation a more comprehensive understanding of how all parts of the program function as a whole.
